DocumentationFund
Everyone wants better documentation, so let’s do something about it! This is the place to gather all that energy and convert it to action.
Most desired pieces of documentation
- Title (n-m page estimate): Description
Willing and able documenters
- Name: Description that includes links to written material, level of experience, and desired areas to work on.
- MichaelSchubert: I am willing to work on any and all areas. See my documentation work on the authors page.
- Robert Simplicio : I am willing to document any areas that need attention, as well as assist with maintenance of the site (pruning, etc.). I have done a good bit of documentation and support over at TextDrive. Here is an example of my work: Lighttpd: The painless way
Willing donators
- Solomon Folks (NeoGenisys): $300.00
Clean, clear and concise documentation for installation on both Unix(Darwin)/Linux and Windows XP/2000. A simple sample application would also be good for those new to ruby as well as rails.
- Name (company): Description that includes the kind of money you’re willing to pledge and what kind of documentation you’re most interested in.

just my two cents

No; there are large parts of core Ruby that do not have good, clear, free documentation. – James
I removed my offer; it was almost a year old and it doesn’t seem to be needed anymore now that ‘Agile Web Development with Rails’ is published. — Thijs
Ok Thank you very much
