This is a list of Rails User Groups from around the world. If you are part of a User Group not on this list, please feel free to add it. If you can’t find a user group in your area, look on Rubyholic, RubyGarden User Group’s Page, or the WWR Groups. There may be a Ruby user group out there that has a lot of Rails interest, too.

  I and few friends started this blog. We are making a user group soon for Pasadena, Glendale and hopefully Los Angeles area. We are one of the highest traffic web sites which is currently running in Java. We looked at Ruby on Rails and we found it far better than any other framework. We decided to rewrite a huge search site in ruby on rails and we have been coding ruby for the last three months. The site going to be the highest traffic web site written in Ruby on Rails. I started this small group few days ago and all the development team is interested to create this user group. For now, we have the site Ruby on Rails Examples.

• Louisville.rb Louisville, KY. Organizing in Louisville since KyRUG has been consistently meeting in Frankfort and Lexington.

• KyRUG – Kentucky Ruby Users Group

• hsv.rb Huntsville, AL. Hsv.rb: Rubyists in Huntsville, Alabama as well as surrounding areas such as Madison, Decatur, the Shoals, and other North Alabama localities.

• North Bay Ruby Users Group. Meets the third Thursday of every month in Sebastopol, CA (Sonoma County, near Santa Rosa).
