What can I do for the Rails community to lend a hand?
You’ll hear it time and time again, but if you don’t want to wade in and create/fix/test the source, then please write documentation. High quality documentation helps new people immensely (although there’s often little reward unless you write a book).
Document it! – Carefully write it into the wiki and let the whole world benefit from your struggles.
To edit existing documentation, simply click the “Edit” button, and away you go — there’s no login required or anything. (You will need to demonstrate that you’re a human when you save, though. Hopefully you’re also an upstanding community member, even if a new one.)
